From 《Goblin》 to 《21st Century Grand Prince’s Wife》
Seoul’s hanoks are no longer simply traditional Korean houses — they have become the backdrop for some of the most memorable scenes in K-dramas.
From the mysterious residence featured in 《Goblin》, to the filming location of the upcoming drama 《21st Century Grand Prince’s Wife》 starring IU and Byeon Woo-seok, as well as iconic scenes from 《Mr. Sunshine》 and 《Reborn Rich》.
Across Seoul, these hanok spaces offer a unique blend of tradition and modernity, nature and city life, creating a cultural atmosphere that continues to captivate travelers from around the world.

1. Unhyeongung 《Goblin》 · 《21st Century Grand Prince’s Wife》

one of Seoul’s most iconic K-drama filming locations. The historic palace residence appeared in 《Goblin》 and is now drawing renewed attention as a filming location for the upcoming drama
starring IU and Byeon Woo-seok.
2. Seonungak 《Mr. Sunshine》
Nestled near Bukhansan Mountain, Seonungak is famous for
its cinematic stone wall road featured in 《Mr. Sunshine》. The peaceful hanok setting and scenic mountain backdrop create
one of Seoul’s most atmospheric filming locations.
3.Baek In-je House 《Reborn Rich》 · 《Assassination》
Baek In-je House is one of Bukchon’s best-preserved modern hanoks, blending traditional Korean architecture with early modern design. It became widely recognized through 《Reborn Rich》
and the film 《Assassination》.
4. Suyeonsanbang 《The Housemaid》 · 《The World of the Married》
Originally built by novelist Lee Tae-jun, Suyeonsanbang is
a quiet literary hanok space in Seongbuk-dong. Now operating as a traditional tea house, it has appeared in various films and dramas including 《The Housemaid》 and 《The World of the Married》
